Baker & McKenzie acts for Wuhan Double on sports agencies acquisitions

Baker & McKenzie advised Chinese company Wuhan Double on the acquisition of two sports agencies – Spain’s Media Base Sports SL and UK-based Media Base Sports Limited – whose clients include Barcelona players Luis Suárez and Andrés Iniesta.

 

The deal was valued at €40 million, according to Mergermarket.

Wuhan Double was also advised by JunZeJun Law offices on the deal.

Other high profile clients of Media Base Sports – which was founded in September 2009 – include Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola, who will join Manchester City as coach later this year.
