Watson Farley & Williams acts for Cerberus on its €1bn acquisition of Renovalia

Watson Farley & Williams advised fund manager Cerberus Capital Management on its acquisition of Renovalia Energy, the Spanish renewable energy company.

The €1bn billion deal is considered one of the largest ever completed in the renewables sector in Spain, to date.

Managing partner and head of corporate María Pilar García Guijarro fronted the team, which also included partners Luis Soto and David Diez in Spain and other lawyers in the firm´s offices in the US and Italy.
