GED Capital instructs King & Wood Mallesons on creation of €150m fund

Private equity group GED Capital instructed King & Wood Mallesons in relation to the establishment of a new fund, GED V España.

GED V España currently has investment commitments of around €80 million, but its target is €150 million.

The King & Wood Mallesons team working on the deal included partners Isabel Rodríguez and Alberto Ruano, and senior associates Ildefonso Alier and Fernando Jiménez.

Rodríguez said: “Trust is returning to the Spanish private equity market and it is becoming more attractive to investors. The creation of GED Capital’s new fund is a further example of the buoyancy in the market.”
