Gómez-Acebo & Pombo instructed on Bebitus deal

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo advised online baby products retailer Windeln.de on its acquisition of Bebitus Retail.

Windeln.de has a significant customer base in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland.

Windeln.de co-founder Alexander Brand said: “Bebitus managed to establish the company as a leading online shop for the needs of young families in Spain within only a few years since its foundation and with very limited cash requirements.

“In addition, Bebitus has started to increase its offering into the adjacent countries Portugal and France. We see very promising growth potential for these three Southern European countries that we want to seize together with Bebitus.”

Windeln.de was also advised on the deal by Munich-based law firm Gütt Olk Feldhaus, according to Mergermarket.
