Jones Day advises Orange on €3.4bn Jazztel bid

Jones Day has advised mobile network operator Orange on the €3.4 billion bid to buy Jazztel.

The transaction – which is subject to regulatory approval – is expected to be finalised in the first quarter of 2015.

The deal would give Orange approximately 1.5 million additional broadband subscribers.

The Jones Day team advising Orange was led by partner Luis Riesgo, and included partner Miguel Bermúdez de Castro, and associates Blanca Puyol, David Hernández, Paloma Bru, Guillermo Pérez, Raquel Travesi, and Javier Gutiérrez.
