Survey

84% of professionals believe that less judicial intervention generates greater legal uncertainty

The IAG Auction Group has carried out a survey on the new insolvency law which shows that 72% of legal operators believe that it will be more difficult for a company to restart its activity with the new insolvency law approved on 25 August. Likewise, 84% of professionals believe that less judicial intervention generates greater legal uncertainty.
IAG Auction Group, a company specialised in the auction and management of insolvency asset sales, has carried out this survey within the framework of the 2nd congress of commercial and insolvency law of Toledo.
Under the title “Restructuring and insolvency: Possible solutions to business insolvency”, the congress will feature speakers such as the former minister of justice, Rafael Catalá; the president of the provincial court of Toledo, Juan Ramón Brigidano and the dean of the Toledo bar association, Ángel José Cervantes Martín, among others.
The congress will take place on September 8th and 9th and will bring together more than 200 professionals including lawyers, economists, deans of bar associations and magistrates from commercial courts from all over Spain to reflect on the new insolvency law.
This congress is being held at a key moment for legal operators, as it is the first event on the subject following the recent approval of the reform of the law, which will mean a major change in the management of insolvency proceedings at a national level.
