Fedele & Partners enters Spain with dual-office launch

Italian law firm Fedele & Partners has expanded into Spain as part of its internationalisation strategy launched in 2025 with the opening of its Dubai office, as exclusively antecipated by Iberian Lawyer. In Spain, the firm is entering the market through a partnership with local firm Tax & Legal LGC Consulting in Barcelona, bringing its initial Spanish presence to eight lawyers and two local partners based in Catalonia and Madrid.

“We are opening in Madrid and Barcelona with the aim of targeting a market segment, leveraging relationships with clients we already have in Italy and who also have a presence in Spain. We want to bring our Italian know-how and performance in terms of KPIs, working for investment funds, SPVs, servicers managing distressed banking and commercial debt, non-performing exposures, and contractual work for Italian and Spanish companies, bringing our expertise in these sectors”, said managing partner Vincenzo Fedele.

Marco Bertaso, partner, will act as head of country for Spain. The structure in Spain also includes two reference local partners, one in Madrid and one in Barcelona, and teams totalling eight lawyers, with further expansion expected in the short term.

“This is our bet within the internationalisation project of the firm, which follows the opening in 2025 of Dubai, our second international office. In Dubai we support Italian companies in their internationalisation processes”, Fedele added.
