Cuatrecasas advises Indra Group on the sale of Minsait Business Consulting
Cuatrecasas has advised Indra Group, a global leader in defence, aerospace and advanced technology, on the agreement reached with European private equity fund Waterland Private Equity for the divestment of 100% of Minsait Business Consulting (MBC), the strategic consulting arm of Minsait.
The transaction also includes the transfer of the ALG and NAE brands, as well as approximately 1,700 professionals, primarily based in Spain and Mexico. Indra Group will retain the remainder of the Minsait perimeter.
Following the transaction, Indra will be able to redirect capital and capabilities towards its key strategic priorities, including the strengthening of its core businesses in defence, space, air traffic, mobility, IndraMind and Minsait, as well as the development of advanced industrial and technological capabilities such as cyber defence, radar systems, counter-drone technologies, UAVs, satellites and space technologies, artificial intelligence, cloud, cybersecurity and quantum computing, among others.
