Stephenson Harwood adds real estate partner in Madrid

Stephenson Harwood has strengthened its Madrid office with the appointment of Marta González-Llera as a partner in its real estate and projects practice. She joins from Cases Lacambra,  where she headed the real estate department, and becomes the ninth partner to join the firm since the Madrid office opened.

Juan Oñate Dancausa, managing partner of Stephenson Harwood in Madrid, noted that González-Llera‘s knowledge and experience will be a valuable addition to the team, and that she shares the firm’s practical and commercial approach to client work.

The Madrid office operates on a partner-led model, offering direct access to senior advice across corporate and financial transactions, litigation and arbitration, with a focus on private capital and funds, and energy transition and infrastructure. The wider partner team includes Juan Oñate Dancausa (managing partner, restructuring, insolvency and special situations), Jesús Almoguera, Carlos González and Eduardo Vázquez de Prada (litigation and arbitration), Carmen Alonso (corporate/M&A and restructuring), Antonio Caneva (banking and finance), Elena Oñoro (tax and international arbitration) and José Ramón Vizcaíno (tax).
