Iberian Lawyer's 40 under Forty Awards recognise the achievements of the new generation of lawyers shaping the future of the legal profession.
The awards are organised in collaboration with UNICEF, protecting children’s rights since 1946.

40 under Forty Awards 2015 Highlights
Held every two years, Iberian Lawyer’s 40 under Forty Awards, honor the leading 40 lawyers across Spain and Portugal under the age of 40. The winners include in-house lawyers as well as lawyers working in private practice. The Jury comprises of recognized representatives of the international legal profession.
The process for submissions is now closed .
The deadline for entry submissions has been extended to 2 May, 23:59h. More information about the 40 under Forty selection rules here.
The forty winners will be informed privately before the Gala and the full list will be revealed publicly at the Awards Ceremony held on 21th September in Barcelona.
The Jury may decide to present an Outstanding Achievement Award per category in the circumstances that they feel that one or more candidates are truly exceptional.
Iberian Lawyer is delighted to also announce the fourth Outstanding Social Contribution Award – which will be awarded to one Spanish and one Portuguese lawyer for their dedication to social causes.
As in previous years, the Awards Ceremony is preceded by the Iberian Legal Summit (See Iberian Legal Summit 2015). This is an interactive debate enabling general counsel from Iberian and international businesses to discuss their current challenges with managing partners from law firms in Barcelona, Lisbon, and Madrid as well as Europe, the USA and Latin America.
